The Pump House Ministries is continually changing and growing and because of these blessings, we are always in need of volunteers. If you have gifts, talents, or resources of any kind that you would like to share with us, we invite you to come and share them with us here. We have opportunities for men, women, and youth to come individually or corporately and work alongside of us on various projects. So much has already been accomplished by volunteers and there is so much that is still yet to be done. Come and share with us in the joy of giving to others. Following are a few of our pressing needs. We'd love to hear from you if you are interested in any of these opportunities:
- Webmaster - The Pump House's current website is administered by several entities. We would like to have the one person in charge of the entire site. This would not require technical skills, but more journalistic skills. The requirements would be: reporting on Pump House activities, personality profiles, and maintaining events schedules. This would be a great opportunity for an internship. Keep in mind that we are not looking for a web designer, but a web writer.
- Ebay Listing - The Pump house has a great number of items that we would like to sell on ebay to raise funds. This position would include photographing, listing, and shipping of these items. It would required about 6 to 8 hours per week.
- Training - The Pump House has several opportunities for training its residents in: basic computer usage, basic use of Microsoft Office, the craft of writing a resume, basic data entry concepts. We are currently building a training facility for just this opportunity.
