International Store Ministry
Volunteer Description
This ministry opportunity will allow you to mingle with people in The Pump House lobby. They may be waiting to be seated at The Grille. They may be waiting to talk with a staff member. You may have an opportunity to start up a conversation with people who are looking over items in our store. If people have questions about items in our store, you can answer their questions. They may wonder where we got different items. They may wonder how their purchase may benefit people locally or in other countries. You may say to them that “the proceeds from their purchase will go to help support families and villages in other countries and to support the ongoing ministries of Pump House.” You may have some opportunities to encourage or pray with people who express a need or a life concern to you. You will be responsible for operating the cash register at the store as people are paying for items they are purchasing. You will also be responsible for making sure store merchandise does not “walk off.”

This volunteer ministry will fit people who are good with people, good with numbers, and if you have some sales experience.
Time Required
4 hour shift opportunities are immediately available.
