Front Desk Receptionist
Volunteer Description
If you have a day of the week when you are bored and you’re looking for a way to make a big difference in people’s lives, this opportunity will provide some missing adventure for your life. You will meet new people. You will help connect people with ministries that meet a felt need in their lives. You will greet people and answer the phones. You will serve in the hub of Pump House and become familiar with all the ministries going on each week at Pump House.
Ministry Match
This position is best suited for someone who is good with people, a clear communicator, a multi-tasker, who likes a challenge, and has a fairly high ability to handle stress in a calm manner. We are looking for confidential people with good boundaries.
Time Required
We have discovered that people do best in this role when they serve the same day each week from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., or serve a later shift from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. We also need people who will be available to be on call to replace a receptionist who is unable to come in to serve.
